CENTERING PRAYER

(Mondays at 5:30 p.m. in the Green Room):  an opportunity for study, discussion and centering prayers.

 

Format:
    1. The group watches a short DVD segment of 20-30 minutes with Father Thomas Keating, a Cistercian monk who teaches on the topic of contemplative prayer.
   

2. There is opportunity for discussion on the topic outlined on the DVD.
    3. The group spends 20 minutes in centering prayer.
   

4. There is the option of having a bowl of soup in Chinatown.

         All are welcome!
  The last Centering Prayer for the
season is on June 28;  it will resume on Monday, September 13.

Guided Labyrinth Meditation

Though the meditation is normally held on the
