Altar Guild

Altar Guild members (God=s housekeepers) are responsible for preparing the chancel for all church services (including weddings, funerals and baptisms).  Some of the duties include making sure the appropriate altar hangings are in place for each service, cleaning the church linens, placing of flowers on the altar, making sure the silver vessels and wine and are set out, candles are in working order and ordering the necessary supplies throughout the year.  Before each Easter and Christmas a cleaning bee occurs in the chancel.   The Altar Guild is always looking for additional members or people to help on occasion.  Please  phone the church office (613-235-3416) if you are interested.

Sidespersons

The sidespersons are often the first people you meet when you attend a service.  They are there to offer you a warm greeting and welcome, hand you a bulletin for the service, take up the offering during the service and at communion, they direct people from their pew up to the communion rail.
