Bazaar and Bake Sale:
Saturday, November 29, 2008

The photos of our 2008 Bazaar, and the article with this photo are taken from the January 2009 edition of Snap Ottawa Downtown--a  community monthly publication.

Every year the wonderful folks at St. Luke's Anglican Church on Somerset Street kick off the festive season with their annual bazaar and bake sale. Their event features acres of delicious hand prepared and home-baked goodies, hand crafted wood items and plenty of other craft items. As part of the fundraiser they also provide a delicious lunch that draws quite the crowd!  The funds raised at the bake sale and bazaar all go to help the community through various programs St. Luke's provides such as food and clothing initiatives for the less fortunate. St. Luke's various fundraisers and activities have become family tradition for many, so keep an eye open in the new year and stop by to enjoy them yourself.
